Is golf an ART or SCIENCE?

As a gifted teacher and shot maker, my combination of verbal and visual skills has always planted me on the ART side of things. With all the data now available through technology, SCIENCE has become an undeniable piece of learning and improving the game of golf.

My facility houses two complete studios one for swinging/ball striking and one for putting. I offer custom fitting in both, as equipment is always a part of the equation.

For the golf swing I have a 2 camera digital system from JVC Video Systems and a state-of-the-art launch monitor from Golf Achiever, with results from each shown on two 32 Sony HD TVs. We will see a frame-by-frame view of your golf swing, clubface and shaft, coupled with precise data that includes club head speed and distance, degrees of swing path (inside or out), degrees of club face (open or closed), launch angle and much more.

Add my art form to the science and we can make the easiest change, split the video to see the how and why of your ball-flight improvement (farther, straighter, etc.) and we are on our way.

On the putting side, I have a separate video system adjacent to the TruTurf  indoor putting green, where I will combine my skill set with the data available from the Break 30 equipment Science & Motion Putt Lab (the PGA tour-preferred SAM), Zen Oracle Putters System and the Break30 curriculum.  As with your golf swing, we will find the most successful methods for working with and improving your putting tendencies.
